Samana

Super quick update so to many days don't go by!
The day we got to Samana the school children were just getting out and stood WAITING for the boys to pay attention to them! This guy started making me a flower bracelet and wanted to show Jude how to do it and the moment Jude went over they all crowded around him and talked and giggled! They hung around forever, but then the 13ish girl did kissy lips and winked at Micah so I sent them on their way!:)

This is our super adorable need greater apartment! Kitchen, living room and both bedrooms! Love it!!

View from our bedroom!:)

View of our apartment from the street, Ginia is on the stairs on her way up to her and Natalie's room. I'd have posted a picture of their room, but it's a mess!

We went to the beach at the end of the peninsula and these super cute kids followed Jeremiah around like he was the coolest thing ever:) which he thinks he is so no biggy to him, but i thought it was cute. They even shared their cheese puffs with him:)

After the beach we went to the meeting in Las Galeras! New little congregation with only 2 elders, which also happen to be the only 2 brothers!! Young sister runs the sound (we just found out she is engaged to one of the brothers:)) Thankfully many come to stay for a a few months at a time from ALL over and they help a lot. The sister on the left is Marilyn, she is an AMAZING sister who has helped us with everything here. She has an amazing life story that needs to be heard:) But she had a talk and her householder was Pheobe from Belgium. Pheobe has been here only 2 months and did not speak Spanish, but that's how quickly she has learned it! Wow!
The meetings are held in a local (noisy) little school. They have only two light bulbs in the "auditorium" where meeting is held so it is very dark and everyone has to sit and hold their bibles according to the lights and shadows. But it is such an awesome congregation, we fell in love with it on day one!:)
SO, now we are trying to stay here in Las Galeras! And learn Spanish:/ :)
